Winemaking classes Fall 2023

We have not scheduled our Fall Winemaking Classes. Please check back in late Aug for out mid-September class details 2023

It will be on: Sunday, September 18, at 10 am. Cost will be $35 for 1 person, $50 for 2.

It will be outside and in the backkside of the Vineyard building. There are tables available for use! So come and enjoy yourself!

We also have a lot of information in handouts during our picking time, usually early September to early October.

We pick on Tuesdays, Saturdays amd Sundays.

Grape Picking Hours

Most likely early September till early October 2022. (season varies from year to year)

In 2023 our first opening day will most lilely be sometime in late August or early September.

After that we will resume our normal hours of:

Tuesday Noon-4:30 Saturday 10- 4

Sunday 12-4

We are open these hours, rain or shine, during harvest season at our vineyard.

Because grape ripening is influenced greatly by the season's weather, we cannot say exactly when varieties will be ripe and ready to harvest. ( you will have to follow our site or call as the season approaches). As it nears, we will update the estimated harvest dates on the site.

We strive to have our grapes of the highest quality for winemaking, juice, or jam. Because of this we prefer to pick when they are at the height of ripeness and quality.

The grapes look very nice and are enjoying the warm sunny weather we've been having. They are just beginning to become colorful.and the quantity looks very good.

We will open in late August for some varieties, and the others shouldl be ripe about a week later. Check our variety info boxes for the lastest informaltion.

COVID 19

There should be plenty of opportunity to keep yourself as safe as you are comfortable with. There is ample "elbow" room outdoors at the vineyard.

When you are in the vineyard and picking you can probably be far enough from others that you can safely take off your mask. You may find this comfortable on a warm sunny day. We will have masks available near check-in for those who forget theirs.

We will be posting any of our changes as we develop them and grape ripening times proceed.
