Winemaking classes Fall 2016

BOTH CLASSES HAVE BEEN CANCELED!!  FALL WINEMAKING CLASSES!

Our 2 winemaking classes this fall are listed below.  And unlike our spring pruing class we don't expect a blowing snow storm. As of the end of July the crop is good sized and the grapes are in fine fettle, with the exception of Aromella, which has a limited crop, and Petite Pearl which is very young. Most varieties are beginning to color up (veraison), and are a little over a month away from harvest.

We escaped a mid-May frost and are looking forward to this next month for continued ripening.

If you are new to winemaking or want to improve your skills our winemaking class is for you. You will have plenty of time to ask questions, tour the vineyard and watch other winemakers pick, crush, and press their grapes.

Please show up at the vineyard 15 minutes before class begins.
